RULES FOR ALL ON LINE GAMESGRID JACKPOT TOURNAMENTS
The following official rules will be in effect for all on line jackpot tournaments:
To enter a GamesGrid Jackpot Tournament, payment must be received in advance (on account) or arrangements must have been made with the Official/Director/President of Cyberarts for payment in advance.
The Jackpot Tournament will not begin until we have all players registered and ready to begin play at Round I. All matches of the jackpot must be completed in one session.
The Tournament Officials/Director reserve the right to alter the number of people competing in the tournament at any time or to cancel the tournament in the event the registration process is exceeding normal time limits, or any other reason the Tournament Officials/Director feels is appropriate.
If the number of tournament players changes, the winning prize money will also change accordingly. This may happen at any time without warning. The players will all be notified of any changes prior to the commencement of Round I play.
If a player wishes to withdraw his/her entry, they may do so PRIOR to the start of the tournament. They will *NOT* be able to withdraw their entry or receive a credit to their account once Round I commences.
IF A PLAYER HAS LOST THEIR CONNECTION TO GAMESGRID FOR ANY REASON OR IS UNABLE TO PLAY FOR ANY REASON THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL BE IN EFFECT AT ALL TIMES:
ONE PENALTY POINT WILL BE AWARDED TO THE PLAYER’S OPPONENT FOR EVERY 10 MINUTES THAT A PLAYER IS UNABLE TO PLAY OR UNABLE TO RETURN TO GAMESGRID FOR ANY REASON.
The order in which the players are placed in Round I are determined randomly. No players will know who their opponents will be during registration/sign-up.
In order to move from one Round to another Round, all matches must be played to completion. The number of points per round will be determined prior to the announcement of each Jackpot as well as the Entry Fee and prize money.
The Crawford Rule is in effect for all Jackpots.
Matches can be played ahead at any time as long as the next level of play is determined by the official brackets of that particular jackpot being played.
All disputes during amatch must be immediately brought to the attention of a Tournament Official/Director and all match play by the 2 players involved should cease until the dispute is resolved.
The brackets will be posted on the web.
Prizes may be distributed in one of two ways. They can be put back into the player’s individual jackpot tournament account or a check can be issued to the player within 3 business days.
Return on all jackpots will be 90%.
ALL PLAYERS MUST READ THE ABOVE RULES AND AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS OF THE RULES PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR A JACKPOT TOURNAMENT.
